About the event
Edinburgh Zombie Club Present classic Christmas Slasher films on the big screen! Black Christmas (1974) Canadian slasher film Black Christmas follows a group of sorority sisters who are terrorized by a mysterious killer making obscene phone calls during their Christmas break. As one of the earliest slasher films, it focuses on chilling atmosphere, suspense, and a disturbing sense of dread as the sisters are picked off one by one, culminating in a harrowing and bleak conclusion. Silent Night Deadly Night (1984) After witnessing his parents' murder by a man in a Santa suit on Christmas Eve, Billy is sent to an abusive orphanage. Years later, as an adult, his trauma leads him to become a spree killer who also wears a Santa suit to carry out his violent revenge.
